During his professional curriculum, Yvelin worked within an agricultural cooperative, within the waste collection site service of the European Metropolis of Lille, and as a collection operator at COVED. This curriculum enabled him to develop his knowledge on specific waste (bulky waste, electronic waste, household hazardous waste…), on the functioning of public bodies and public markets as well as on waste collection.
By integrating ECOGEOS, he mobilizes his technical and management skills for the preparation and the operational phase of characterization campaigns. He also intervenes beside ECOGEOS project managers on different studies about the optimization of household waste collection and management.
Yvelin possesses technical skills in dimensioning, management and optimization of waste collection services. He has a very good knowledge of public markets and skills in team management.
Charlotte worked in the field of waste prevention and management in the Martinique Island: management and follow-up of hazardous waste, coordination for the implementation of a recovery chain for used textiles, linen and shoes in an integration workshop. She also conducted Territorial Climate Energy Plans for several collectivities.
She is a project officer for a waste characterization study in La Réunion Island. She also brings her expertise in the operational management of waste treatment industry and in the engineering of environmental processes. These skills coupled to her experience of management and coordination in integration workshops enable her to bring a transversal look on technical and social issues of waste prevention and management.
Charlotte possesses skills in waste characterization, environmental engineering, operation engineering of waste management industries and in management and monitoring of employees in insertion. She also has a very good knowledge of the specific issues of overseas territories (Martinique Island, La Réunion Island...).
She participated to various studies of territorial diagnoses, optimizations of waste collection and implementations of pay-as-you-throw schemes on behalf of Girus Engineering. Moreover, she has been a sorting ambassador in the Nantes Metropole territory and she participated to research works about the treatment of incineration residues at the University of Greenwich (UK).
With a double curriculum in environmental engineering and business management, she coordinates the Ecogeos administration while leading technical studies (territorial diagnoses, writing of annual reports, advice to public authorities fort waste prevention and management…). She conducts characterization campaigns (preparation, supervision, analysis of results…), and her involvement in the X30 AFNOR commission “Waste management and recycling” demonstrates her expertise about this topic.
Specialized in waste collection and treatment, she relies on her knowledge in analysis, treatment and valorization of various matrix (water, air, soil, waste) to advise public authorities.
Trained to the design and management of environmental projects, he focused on waste prevention and management. After having improved his knowledge about the different types of waste and their regulatory framework, he specialized on waste prevention and organic recovery. Among other things, he ran a waste prevention program for a pilot public body and he supported the initiatives of different actors in waste management modernization for the ADEME agency in New Caledonia.
Thanks to his knowledge in social science, Sylvain can lead missions related to waste prevention and management with a reflection on strategy and territorial animation (concertation, synergies between different actors, design of shared projects, program monitoring, etc.). He is also mobilized for the elaboration of GIS data bases and mapping. Finally, he provides backing for waste characterization missions.
Beyond his technical and regulatory skills, he is experienced in concertation, territorial animation and partnership-based management of projects related to waste prevention. He is also capable of conceiving technical and educational tools for communication.
Thanks to a curriculum open to pollution issues (water, air, soils), waste, and environmental management, he is a generalist of the environment and has carried out various studies related to water and waste management. He has also been a characterization studies officer at Verdicité and he has an experience of the agricultural sector.
Jean-Michel conducts waste characterization campaigns and waste management studies. He brings to the team his expertise about pollutions and water management, his understanding of agriculture stakes and his experience in control missions (data measurement and analysis, writing of technical reports, etc.).
Jean-Michel has knowledge in waste characterization, water science (management, treatment, water networks and sanitation), geoscience and geochemistry (cartography, statistics, hydrology) as well as in the examination of environmental application files.
During his seven years in Terralys, Kalies and Astradec, Damien led interdisciplinary studies in the field of waste management and treatment on the one hand, and missions of infrastructure project management missions on the other hand. His experience is especially related to the issues regarding conception and optimization of waste treatment installations and to studies or technical assistance to the contracting authority for the recovery of contaminated sites and soils.
His skills enable him to conduct operations of technical assistance to the contracting authority or project management on waste treatment and recovery installations, from their design to their dimensioning, regulatory follow-up, optimization, thirty-years monitoring, securing and end of life. He also supervises waste characterization campaigns (team management, analysis of results).
Damien has crossed skills in project management (design, dimensioning, tender documents, works follow-up, etc.) and in project support in waste management within a circular economy perspective.
In public bodies such as the IRD (Research Institute for Development) or IRSTEA, Marine has worked on different research topics: statistical analysis of river flows, pollutant transfers in agricultural environments… She also was a studies officer on governance and public policies assessment projects in France and abroad (French Water Agency, GRET organization). Specialized in environmental engineering, she was responsible for the exploitation and follow-up of a waste-to-energy unit on behalf of Metz Metropolis for 4 years.
She conducts transversal studies related to her skills in environmental engineering, governance and public policies assessment, as well as in the fields of statistics and data modeling.
Her technical skills, which include surface hydrology, hydrogeology and statistic analysis, go along with skills in diagnosis, assessment and prospective related to public policies.
During his two first professional years at the INRA (National Institute for Agricultural Research), Maxime focused on biogeochemical analysis of contaminated soils, especially as part of the RESACOR project. He has then been an engineer in contaminated sites and soils at the BRGM (Geological and Mining Research Bureau) where he contributed to the design of a standard urban geochemical background for soil analyses.
He mobilizes his know-how to support public authorities in their projects related to the management of non-hazardous waste sanitary landfills (assistance in design, regulatory follow-up, audits, preliminary studies for the recovery of former landfills, etc.). He also participates to various environmental studies (soils and flora analysis, assessment of diffuse methane emissions, optimization of leachates re-injection systems for bioreactors…) and leads waste characterization campaigns.
His skills in environmental geotechnics, hydrogeology and geochemistry enable him to understand non-hazardous waste sanitary landfills in their entirety. He is also experienced in waste characterization campaigns (preparation, supervision, result analysis …).
After two years at the University of Leicester (UK) where he analyzed sludge from power plants, then at Eco-Emballages where he provided technical assistance to public authorities for the improvement of their sorting performances, Quentin worked for one year and a half in the Amodiag Environnement consulting company on various waste management projects (renewing of collection contracts, audits, design and renovation of waste collection sites, collective or non-collective sanitation, regulatory application files…).
As a studies and works engineer, he provides technical assistance to public authorities and firms in waste management, as well as technical support to other Ecogeos engineers on the issues related to hydraulics and liquid and solid sanitation (sediments, sludge, excreta). He also works on technical studies related to waste management: project supervision for waste collection sites, assessments of diffuse methane emissions in non-hazardous waste sanitary landfills, water balances, characterizations of household and similar waste, techno-economic scenarios, etc.
His double specialization in hydraulics and waste management is put into practice in hydrologic studies, calculations of infrastructure dimensioning, data analyses and project supervision.
After several experiences in Health-Security-Environment, he chose to specialize in waste management and prevention. He especially focused on waste characterization, as a studies officer at the TERRA consulting company. He has also been a collection animator and sorting ambassador, which was an opportunity for him to sensitize individuals and professionals.
Donovan is involved in many waste characterization campaigns on behalf of public authorities and eco-organisms: residual household waste, biowaste, recyclable waste, paper, furniture, electronic waste, wood, etc. He also provides to the Ecogeos team his knowledge in risk prevention and in the optimization of industrial waste sorting.
Donovan has developed skills in waste characterization, sensitizing (house-to-house, stands), sorting optimization (cartography of industrial waste, logistic processes, regulatory documents, etc.) and risk analysis.
After having worked for two years as a studies engineer in France (on the design of air treatment facilities) and in Australia (on waste characterization), Marie-Amélie carried out for four years technical studies on non-hazardous waste sanitary landfills on behalf of Veolia Environnement. She also carried out research on the anaerobic biodegradation of waste stored in bioreactor mode.
She joined Ecogeos one year after its creation to carry out interdisciplinary studies and research in the field of waste management and treatment. Her sense of synthesis coupled to her rigor enabled her to successfully conduct several transversal studies, notably on behalf of the ADEME and the RECORD association. She carries out technical studies related to waste collection (extension of waste sorting instructions, quantitative and financial aspects…), technical studies on non-hazardous waste landfills (risk exposure, post-exploitation follow-up…) as well as states of the art and bibliographical analyses in the field of the environment.
She has solid research skills as well as technical expertise not only on waste management, whether in terms of waste prevention, collection, valorization, etc. or follow-up of non-hazardous waste landfill sites (leachates, biogas, flora, diffuse emissions, etc.), but also on energy and environment issues.
Having an experience of several years abroad (Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, Romania), she notably collaborated for more than three years to a European project on public participation, risk communication and differences of perception in the context of landfill sites localizations. On behalf of the ADEME, she also carried out research studies about the question of legitimacy in the stakeholder’s speeches in the context of development of rejected implementation projects.
She studies the technical stakes of waste management but also the societal ones. The technic-society dialectic is always a key of analysis in her works, whether it is for impact assessments, studies of management costs or assistance to public policies related to waste prevention (“Zero Waste” territories, “Waste and Circular Economy” goal agreements). Moreover, she contributes to the international development of Ecogeos.
Marta’s skills are both technical (environmental audits, on-site analysis campaigns, feasibility studies, technical and economic assessments…) and societal (interviews, questionnaires, analysis of dynamics among stakeholders, network animations…). She is trilingual in French, Portuguese and English.
Having been a commercial secretary for more than 10 years at Domoconcept, she acquired a solid experience in administrative management. She has also been able to set up several customer services of telesales at the Blancheporte firm. Furthemore, having created the children’s play area Wistykids, she developed her activity and led her own business from 2011 to 2016.
She assists Franck Olivier in the human resources management (schedules management, logistics, employment contracts…) and administrative management (billing, inventory management…) of Ecogeos. She also provides to the team her experience in customer relations, survey conduction, animation and development of activities. Finally, thanks to her skills in supervision, reporting and reports drafting, she can help other team employees in their missions.
Marie-Line has skills in business management (human resources, administration, logistics), customer relations (reception, retention, litigation management, satisfaction surveys…), team animation and survey conducting”.
For two years, he has been a trainee in geotechnics at the Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) where he developed tools for the improvement of risk analysis related to soil liquefactions (spreadsheets, logograms, cartographies…). Trained as a cartographer-geographer in the field, he also acquired experience in worksite monitoring and in the analysis of service offers.
With his specialization in urban waste management, Tristan is a studies officer in geotechnics and he also carries out waste characterization campaigns for public authorities: upstream preparation (initial contact, visit of sites, planning), operational phase management (logistics, equipment monitoring, team management) and writing of reports.
Thanks to his advanced knowledge in geology, geotechnics and contaminated sites and soils, he can provide a critical look to waste treatment and recovery installations. He is also an expert in characterization and he masters several software devices of GIS mapping, design and modeling.
He is a generalist of environmental issues, with a specialization in waste prevention and sustainable management. He was especially in charge of supporting public authorities in their projects related to waste prevention within the Zero Waste France association. Moreover, he contributed to tackle food waste at the social firm Phénix, he carried out benchmarks and other studies for a consulting firm and he analyzed the stakes of environmental assessment within the Ministry of Ecology.
His mission is to develop activities related to strategic advice and assistance to public actors. His knowledge in political science, economics and environmental law enable him to provide a transversal look at the issues related to waste prevention and management, by crossing the analysis of global evolutions with field surveys. He also takes over a part of Ecogeos’ communication.
Experienced in project management and research methods (questionnaires, interview grids, data analyses…), he is specialized in territorial issues related to waste prevention. He fluently speaks English and German.
He first worked for 5 years as a technical assistant on behalf of the European Commission, leading or supervising rural development projects in several developing countries. He then acquired 17 years of experience in the sector of waste treatment and management, working as a studies engineer on behalf of the ADEME (2000-2003) then for Veolia Environnement (2003-2006).
Specialist of transdisciplinary studies in the field of waste management, Franck Olivier created in 2007 the consulting company Ecogeos, which he has run since then. His expertise especially concerns sanitation, soils, water and engineering of waste treatment and recovery installations, from the site’s design to its end of life; he ensures the international development of Ecogeos on these topics. He also participates to R&D projects related to waste management, with an approach that is both technical and economic.
Beyond his skills in business development and management, he has skills in scientific and technical assistance for the management and follow-up of waste treatment installations (design assistance, audits, controls, prospective studies, etc.) as well as a long experience of conducting research projects (states of the art, field surveys, research program animation…).
After a generalist training in international trade, he worked for 5 years at Solidarités International on projects related to water, hygiene and sanitation, providing his expertise both on logistic and financial aspects. He also worked at Eco-Mobilier to support the development of their activity, especially through the definition and implementation of the quality control and performances monitoring of partners strategy.
His specialization in waste engineering enables him to develop an integrated approach of advice to public authorities, on topics such as territorial diagnoses, local prevention programs and separate collection of waste. Besides, Valentin is in charge of developing Ecogeos’ services abroad, especially in the developing countries where he provides his advice and elaborates training programs for the implementation of waste pre-collection, collection and treatment.
The studies that he can carry out are both technical and socio-economic. Moreover, he has skills in business, logistics and in the organization and animation of trainings.
As a business engineer for 8 years at the Girus Engineering consulting company, she worked on advice and project support missions related to household and similar waste management. She is an expert in waste prevention, notably specialized in feasibility studies and implementation follow-up of pay-as-you-throw schemes. Sensitive to environmental issues, she is personally engaged in the topics of zero waste and circular economy.
Marie provides her expertise on prevention and optimization of waste management (household and similar waste, medical waste, Buildings and Public Works waste…), on collection modalities (separate collections, extension of sorting instructions for plastic packaging…) as well as on financing schemes (pay-as-you-throw schemes, special fees for professionals…) in order to offer a complete assistance to public authorities. Familiar with the chain of waste management from prevention to collection and treatment, she carries out a regulatory watch on these topics and participates to national-level missions for the ADEME (management of the SINOE data base, follow-up of “Zero Waste” territories…).
Her technical skills include studies for the fiscal and technical optimization of waste management services, audits and diagnoses on medical waste and elaborations of waste prevention plans. Moreover, she masters the writing of public contracts.
He first worked as a sorting ambassador on behalf of Veolia Propreté and as a studies officer for the implementation of waste management in the city of Chinguetti (Mauritania). He then was a business manager at Girus Engineering, where he carried out waste diagnoses and built regulatory files for non-hazardous waste sanitary landfills. During his 8 years of experience in South America, he has been in charge of missions related to territorial development projects with both environmental and social stakes. He also carried out a prospective study of environmental markets in Peru.
Guillaume conducts technical studies on waste characterization, carries out environmental diagnoses, and supports public actors in their projects through territorial diagnoses and waste prevention studies. He is also in charge of the prospection of new strategic and commercial opportunities for the development of Ecogeos.
With a double skill in urban engineering (waste management, town planning, sanitation) and social science, he participates to the development and management of transversal projects and studies. Furthermore, he is bilingual in French and Spanish.
She is a generalist engineer who has worked for 7 years at the Cabinet Merlin consulting company, on missions of advice and support for the management of household and similar waste. She specialized in the support of public authorities for the implementation of their general studies and their master schemes, as well as in the conception of their contract renewal processes for the modernization and optimization of waste treatment units.
Kim’s expertise in waste prevention and recovery (organic, material and energetic recovery), coupled with her practice of public markets, enable her to support public and private actors in their waste management projects. Among other things, she studies the issues of security, environmental impacts, maintenance and viability of treatment and recovery installations. She provides her experience abroad through the design of training plans on the professions related to waste.
The support that she can offer in waste prevention and recovery projects is at the same time operational, technical (feasibility studies, technical support, impact assessments) and regulatory (composition of regulatory files, writing of tender documents, public procurements).
After having worked on the issue of atmospheric pollutions, he developed an expertise in the engineering of non-hazardous waste sanitary landfills at the EODD (ex-CSD Ingénieurs) consulting company. For three years, he carried out various regulatory studies (application files for exploitation authorizations, water regulation, tender documents, EQRS…), missions of project supervision (extension and recovery of landfills) and audits.
His role is to conduct operations in technical assistance to the contracting authority and project management on waste treatment and recovery installations, from their design to their dimensioning, regulatory follow-up, optimization, thirty-years monitoring, securing and end of life. He also conducts environmental assessments (EQRS, impact assessments, pollution diagnoses), waste characterization campaigns and studies for the development of ground-based solar plants. Finally, he is an expert in the conception of costings and operational planning, and he participates to the commercial development of Ecogeos.
Benoît has crossed skilled in project supervision (mapping, dimensioning, tender documents, works follow-up, etc.) and in project support (audits, controls, prospective studies….) in the field of non-hazardous waste sanitary landfills. Moreover, he masters the environmental regulation of classified facilities.
As a project officer at Auchan, Gautier developed an expertise in energy management. He then participated in a project to grow bioplastics from micro-alga at Barcelona Polytechnic University. He also worked on the design of sanitation master plans.
He participates in all stages of characterization campaigns: planification, practical organization, implementation, data input, control and analysis of results, writing of reports… He also carries out several studies related to environment and waste management, such as environmental monitoring of waste treatment installations.
Gautier has skills in waste management, water management (treatment processes, sanitation) as well as in energy management (ISO 50 001 standard, related regulation, carbon audit, etc.) which enable him to advise public entities on these different topics.
After having followed a curriculum of specialist engineer in waste, atmospheric pollution and water treatment, she developed an expertise on methanization, as a studies officer at Enerpo (Blois). Then, she performed a state of the art on the collection of household and similar waste for COVED (Lyon). She also worked on the recovery of industrial wastelands and on the implementation and follow-up of a construction site for an international solidarity mission in Madagascar.
Victoria participates to characterization campaigns and she carries out various studies related to waste management and to the environment. She provides her expertise to Ecogeos on the topic of methanization (processes and technologies for anaerobic digestion, regulations related to biowaste, etc.) and on the logistical aspects of separate collection and sorting in civic amenity sites, as well as her knowledge in renewable energies and sustainable development.
She has skills in waste characterization and collection (route optimization, costings, dimensioning, writing of technical reports….), in project management and in sustainable development sensitizing.
At INSA Lyon (National Institute of Applied Sciences), where she has been a research engineer, she studied the issues related to uses and dynamics among stakeholders on topics such as sanitation in India, citizen’s practices regarding the sorting of household waste in France or urban lighting. On behalf of the ADEME and in partnership with the University of Lyon and the IRSTEA, she contributed to a research project on the conflictual situations related to waste treatment installations.
She carries out studies and research projects in the field of waste management with a strong societal component, on behalf of public authorities, institutional partners (ADEME, VNF) or associations such as the RECORD network: diagnoses, survey conducting through interviews and questionnaires, bibliographic analyses, data exploitation, writing of reports…
Thanks to her interdisciplinary training, she has crossed skills in urban engineering (territory planning, waste management, sanitation) and in social sciences (sociology, ethnography, history), which enable her to apprehend the links between technics and society.
Geometer then designer for 23 years in several technical units of SUEZ Environnement (FD Conseil, Fairtec, Safege), Nicolas has been simultaneously working on the design of treatment and recovery installations, on map drawing and on project management.
He works alongside the Ecogeos team of studies and works engineers on various projects: technical assistance to the Contracting Authority, project supervision, technical expertise and audits, control missions…
He contributes to the design, definition and implementation of waste treatment installations, waste collection sites, recycling centers and recovery units. He carries out the design of administrative and technical maps related to these studies and he assesses the metrics and volumes.
