In addition to a full-time working manager, Ecogeos has currently four employees. All profiles are summarized below:

Franck OLIVIER

Civil engineer (HEI Lille)
PhD in earth and environmental sciences (Grenoble University)
16 years of experience

Franck Olivier

Franck OLIVIER has first worked four years as international technical assistant on behalf of the European Commission, leading or supervising several rural development projects in the context of developing countries. He then gained an 11 years’ experience in waste treatment and management, working successively on behalf of the ADEME, the Creed and the technical management of Veolia Environnement. In early 2007, Franck OLIVIER created the consulting firm Ecogeos, he has run since. As part of his current position, Franck OLIVIER achieved, in addition to numerous studies and technical research on waste disposal and environmental geotechnics, other transversal studies: states of the art, prospective studies, evaluations etc.

Marie-Amélie MARCOUX

Environmental process engineer (Insa of Lyon)
PhD in earth and environmental sciences (Grenoble University)
7 years of experience

marie.marcoux@ecogeos.fr

 06 28 35 92 93

Marie-Amélie Marcoux

After having worked for two years as a research engineer in France (in the design of air handling systems) and Australia (on the characterization of household waste), Marie-Amélie Marcoux conducted a research on behalf of Veolia Environnement, on anaerobic biodegradation of waste in connection with the bioreactor process. As part of her doctoral thesis, she has worked on optimizing the hydro-bio-mechanical performance of a bioreactor landfill on an industrial scale. She joined Ecogeos in 2009 to conduct studies and interdisciplinary research in the fields of waste and effluents (leachate, biogas) management and treatment, and more generally on topics related to environment and energy management.

Marta MATIAS

Environmental engineer
Master in environmental socio-policies and spatial planning
(New University of Lisbon + INSA of Lyon)
5 years of experience

marta.matias@ecogeos.fr

 06 29 54 69 20

Marta Matias

After her training, Marta MATIAS worked for more than three years as part of a European project on public participation, risk communication and differences within perceptions in the context of waste management. With a 4 years’ experience abroad (Portugal and Romania), also tri-lingual (English - French - Portuguese), Marta MATIAS joined Ecogeos in 2010 with the objective of developing societal studies and researches (surveys, analysis, etc.) in the field of waste prevention, management and treatment.

Vincent MUGNIER

Field & modelling engineer
Master in modelling and numerical simulation (Grenoble University)
4 years of experience

vincent.mugnier@ecogeos.fr

Vincent Mugnier

Vincent MUGNIER acquired during its four years of experience, skills in the development of measuring instruments, modelling applied especially to waste hydraulics and geotechnical engineering as well as monitoring work. His thoroughness and his quick understanding of new topics make him a versatile collaborator, equally at ease on the field as well as within calculations, modelling and computer programming.

Elsa DUFRESNE

Engineer in Environmental Chemistry
(ENSC Rennes)
Master of Business Administration
(IGR - IAE of Rennes)
1 year of experience

elsa.dufresne@ecogeos.fr

 06 72 55 75 32

Elsa Dufresne

After her engineer training, during which she became familiar with analysis and treatment methods in various environmental fields (water, air, soils, waste), Elsa DUFRESNE specialized in waste management. She was thus involved in a campaign promoting recycling of household waste for Nantes Metropolis and in various studies for Girus Engineering, including waste collection optimizations, territorial diagnosis and volume-based waste fee systems. Bilingual in English and French, Elsa DUFRESNE also took part in research works on the treatment of incineration residues at the University of Greenwich (UK). With her double degree in business administration, she joined Ecogeos in 2012 to take up both technical and commercial responsibilities.
